Afrikan Boy – what took you so long mixtape

Afrikan Boy  is a grime/Afrobeat MC originally from Nigeria, now chopping it up in the UK. He made a guest appearance on the track “Hussel” from the M.I.A. album Kala, and is one of the initial artists M.I.A. wanted signed to her label in 2007, then titled Zig-Zag. Currently studying for a Psychology degree, Afrikan Boy has found time  to tour in support of M.I.A. on her KALA Tour and People Vs. Money Tour as well as headlining his own shows. With the rise of the UK grime scene following the success of artists such as Dizee Rascal and Tinie Tempah, the blend of grime and Afrobeat makes Afrikan boy a good listen. Enjoy!
